Introduction:-
"Dual Currencies" is a small Mod based on an aspect of Aensland's (apparently abandoned) Cyrodiil Economic Overhaul. What this Mod does is allow the Player to have separate currencies between the Shivering Isles and Cyrodiil.

Cyrodiil uses Septims as currency.
The Shivering Isles uses Sheos as currency.
Sheos are worthless in Cyrodiil, and Septims are worthless in the Shivering Isles.

The Mod works by checking how much Gold the Player has on entering the Shivering Isles for the first time, and replaces that Gold with "Septim Tokens". Any Sheo Tokens you have are converted to Gold. Any new Gold the Player gains is assumed to be Sheos. When you return to Cyrodiil, your Gold is again checked, and replaced with "Sheo Tokens". Any Septim Tokens you have are converted to Gold.

Sheo and Septim Tokens are found in the Misc. Area of your inventory, and can be dropped (for example, being placed in Containers)-- you CANNOT drop the Currency of your current area: for example, if you are in the Shivering Isles, you can only drop Septim Tokens, not Sheo Tokens (since you will not have any, and it will be your actual Gold).

Install:
1. Copy CDM - Dual Currencies.esp to your Oblivion/Data Folder
2. Check CDM - DualCurrencies.esp in your Data Files menu

Uninstall:
1. Open the Console and Type: Set ZCDMDCUninstall to 1
2. After the Uninstall Message appears, save and exit Oblivion
3. Delete CDM - Dual Currencies.esp from your Oblivion/Data Folder

Known Issues:
Not compatible with any Mod that alters Currency/Gold dramatically (such as coin-dropping Mods, new gold denominations, et cetera)
Should work with Mods which alter the Mesh/Texture of Gold Coins
Requires Shivering Isles.

Should be working perfectly-- but if you find any issues, please let me know.

Sounds good!
Too bad about that economy mod, though.

I really like the sound of this. It makes for better reason to stay within the SI realm longer. It also adds to the depth of SI as it obviously is ruled by Sheograth and not the Septims. I haven't checked yet, but is there a custom texture for Sheos?

No, just the same texture used by normal Septims-- since you'll never actually see both at the same time (if it's working correctly) it shouldn't really matter from a "getting mixed-up" point of view (of course, from a RP/Realisim PoV, yeah... :S )

This makes me quite joyous.
I've been using CEO mainly for the dual currencies part, and now a more "light-weight" option is being presented. Fantastic!
Though I understand septims will be converted into sheos, and vice versa depending on your whereabouts, right?
Is there an option, maybe in the future, to have the both operating at the same time, but making septims worthless in the Isles; kind of like how that particular option in CEO works?
Oh, and just to be safe, I'm sorry if I have misinterpreted the readme. I'll blame it on my regular lack of sleep. :P
Either way, this is an instant download!

I think that's basically how it works. Your Sheos aren't converted to Septims when you traverse between areas, but are instead converted to a "misc item". And vice versa.

So, if you enter the SI with 1200 Septims, and gain 300 Sheos while there, when you exit you'll still only have 1200 Septims, and when you go back only 300 Sheos.

Yes, Showler is correct :)

Any coins you have from Cyrodiil become unspendable "misc. items" when you enter the Shivering Isles, and vice-versa :)
