I've read a lot about the states merging into individual "13 Commonwealths", so as a Texan, i wander what commonwealth texas was a part of if not what states became part of texas?

It just merged with Arkansas.

This does beg an interesting question though - Texas has the right to split itself into 4 smaller states if it so chooses, would the commonwealth of texas have the same right?

Thats nice to know Texas took pride in staying under the name 'Texas Commonwealth' :coolvaultboy:

In my opinion. Shouldn't Fallout 4 take place in the OK. ARK. Texas area? because from nuclear path maps Houston was a prime target for some reason.

I can't help but wonder why you're talking about Fallout 4 already. Fallout 3 JUST came out in October. We haven't even seen the release of the G.E.C.K. or the first DLC yet and yet people are all ready for the next installment? Holy hell... I'd be willing to bet that FO4 won't be around until at least 2011, after the next TES game. So let's stop dreaming about FO4 because they didn't pick your state and get on with it...

God, no-one cares. We're still enjoying Fallout 3 to even bother. And to answer your question on where it takes place, somewhere that's not DC

I would like to see DLC about that Commonwealth. Some nice advanced techies and clean sterile environments like Vault City.

Personally I'd like to see it held in these following locations

Las Vegas, Nevada (Casinos, population?)
Houston, Texas (Space center, big buildings, etc)
Miami, Florida (mutated crocodiles)
North of D.C. (Get out of the D.C. area, its boring)

Texas is pretty boring and flat (or at least where I am) so I dont know about that...how about in China?
