Oblivion homes for a lower performance computer?

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 7:13 pm

Hello,

I'm looking for some good quality oblivion houses which wont hit my FPS too much. I have already looked on ORE but they don't have a section for that.
I would prefer if it could be something with not too many light sources crammed into one place.

Thanks,
hope you can help :]

Look for a mod author by the name of WhoGuru on TES Nexus or TES Alliance, beautiful homes, FPS friendly :D

WhoGuru does make great homes. All should meet your needs, except Hedge Home which is an exterior home so less FPS friendly.

Yes, it's unfortunate that the Hedge Home hits computers a bit hard. It's a very very lovely mod. This Hedge recommends it. :whistling:

Anyway, perhaps you should take a trip to http://www.oblivionsrealestate.com/ and see if you can find anything there. :)

Reason for edit: fixed an emote.

LOL The hedge home hits fps? really? XD Crap and I tried so hard to avoid that. Well as long as it's not unplayable. Can't believe it doesn't stutter on my aging rig!

At the OP however, you can click the "My Mods" link in my sig and be taken to a listing off all my mods, including all my homes. :foodndrink: I hope you'll find something there you like!

Any exterior home is going to hit the lower end computers, Red. Don't feel bad about it. You did a marvelous job keeping the damage minimal while retaining the beauty. The grotto runs flawlessly on my rickety old rig.

However, BOXES, if you find that you get a good framerate outdoors, I still suggest giving the Hedge Home a try. It's very unique. :D
