A Public Service Announcement

I decided to move my "BEEF" with a mod idea over here, because I have more of a Fallout ecological service announcement for those not familiar with Fallout lore.

I understand brahmin are a food source, but the brahmin need a food source too.

When there is no food source brahmin go mad and begin killing everything. That is the whole reason some of you have found packs of "Mad Brahmin" in the wasteland that attack on sight. "Mad Brahmin" is one aspect of nature which balances a fragile wasteland ecosystem. No food for baby brahmin = a dangerous, mutated, herd mentality. At that point brahmin either kill competitors to the food chain or get killed themselves.

It is a scary reality and I don't think the idiots living near the Republic of Dave or Canterbury Commons really have a clue as to what they are up against. They are trying to treat brahmin like regular cattle and that just simply is not the case. They need to ask the real experts.. like me Brahmin Bill.

The Republic of Dave has, at least, some hankering of common sense with the perimeter that is set up around their compound. However, Canterbury Commons is the largest nemesis. Those morons say they aren't worried about raiders and they don't need walls or anything to keep invaders out. My answer is look down the hill from you boneheads! You have a bunch hungry brahmin! But, this greedy jerk who calls himself a mayor doesn't care. He also doesn't understand that raiders aren't coming out northeast because they know there is a ticking time bomb just waiting to happen. This "mayor" lets greed control him and he wants the town to fill up and become a bustling trade outpost. A bustling trade economy depended solely on brahmin to transport goods, brahmin who need food and who also see humans as competitors on the food chain. Short term it appeals to people, but long term the town gets bigger and the brahmin population explodes.
Afterall, how about the domesticated brahmin who come into town with the tradesmen? That is at least three brahmin that need to be fed and watered with the additional half a dozen grazing outside town.

Still not enough of a threat for you?
How about the many brahmin who hang out around the Regulator outpost? Also, I haven't been around the Republic of Dave in a while, but the last time I was near there I ran into a pack of these "Mad Brahmin" and I am telling you...
It is no cooincidence! (By the way I don't recommend eating the meat. I tried giving some to Dogmeat and he just cried and wouldn't touch it)
ALSO, in this Caravan Guard Mod [WIP] some lunatic suggested the mod add caravans leading 20 or 30 heads of cattle! WHO THE HELL IS GOING TO FEED THEM??

Finally, if you think unpurified water is the problem you are sadly mistaken. Radioactive water is what culls most of the nutrition brahmin require. Radioactive water is the one reason there is even sparse black vegetation. Now that moron Three Dog has been ranting about some stupid group of so called "scientists" who want to purify the water. Albeit, there is a stupid group of wannabe "aggies" who want to raise brahmin like pets or regular cattle. Do you see where I'm going with this?
No radioactive water = starving brahmin
Increase brahmin population = starving brahmin in explosive numbers that not even an atomic bomb could compete with.

People of the wasteland consider yourselves warned!!!!!
Thank you and you are welcome!

This has been a public service announcement!

Is it really a fact that Brahmins' food needs radioactive water?

Of course I am highly concerned with Mad Brahmin issue, but Capital Wasteland seems to produce enough food for them, unlike area of California, which is mainly desert (?).

Do you mean to say that you do not take this issue seriously???!!! :P :)

Well I guess we'll just have to let the good Vault 101 doctor get his way yet again. :nope: What does he care? He who crashes the way of life in other people's vaults. He who leaves his science team in the middle of research. He who leaves his child to an angry vault only to thrust the unknowing soul into the wasteland with no clue as to what a brahmin or raider is.

Maybe you understand now why Fallout 3 doesn't take place in California. Arroyo was stupid too. Remember the heroic vault 13 dweller who had never even seen a farm but was able to teach the Arroyo farmer about crop rotation? New Reno? -idiots driven by greed yet again. War never changes my friends and the sole ingredient is greed. Try telling that idiot Canterbury Commons mayor. there isn't even a dialogue option... it is a conspiracy!!! THEY MUST BE STOPPED! (runs around pushing people into bushes) :ahhh:
