I just recently got fallout 3 off of direct 2 drive and downloaded it using their download manager tool. When i attempt to launch fallout my mouse button swirls in a circle for about 2 seconds and then nothing happens =( i cant even get to the main menu ffs. Iv tried launching it via fallout mod manager and still nothing.

My comp is a HP Pavilion dv5 Notebook PC. 4gigs of ram with an ATI RADEON HD 3200 2gig graphics card. 250g hard drive. AMD Turion™ Dual-Core Mobile RM-72 (2 CPUs), ~2.1GHz Processor.

i realize that my graphics card is pretty crappy and figured that may be the problem untill i did some research and found several people running the game fine with the same card. No idea what the problem could be and im not all that great with computers so some help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having a similar problem with my HP desktop. I have tried loading a copy I bought at Wal-Mart that just will not autoload. The computer has an AMD Athlon 64 Processor at 2.41 Ghz and 1.5 GB of RAM. I just installed a NVIDIA GeForce 8400 graphics card with 1024 ram. I tried to install it on my Lenovo Thinkpad which runs an Intel processor. It installed on that machine with no problem, but will not run because of processor speed and graphics capabilities. The only thing that I see in common with these two problems is the AMD processor.
