How do you all suggest sitting anywhere be implemented? Double tap crouch or something? Then if looking at a chair/bench when doing it you sit on the chair/bench?

I think you should sit, but only like when you went to the Mythic Dawn meeting. An enemy or ally wishes to talk, they tell you to sit, and a conversation follows. Having to sit in that chair for the meeting gave a certain sense of immersion for some strange reason.

Then again maybe it was just me......

Lets say that you decided to visit a tavern.

the mead is flowing, and you spot a friend of yours in the corner. he waves you over, and asks the buxom waitress to bring a flagon of ale for you and everyone sitting around him.

You sit down and begin to enjoy the good time you are having with your friends.

sitting down should open up new options, above is a little bit of an exaggerated scenario, but to simplify it, lets say you sit at the bar, and next to you is an NPC that you have to get information out of. because you are sitting down at a bar, you can order a drink for anyone near you, and for yourself.

this could also mean having table games and playing them with other NPCs, maybe not an actually mini game, but just something that goes on while you two talk, with the way talking to NPCs works now (time doesn't stop when you talk to an NPC), playing a game or drinking together would make them like your more (or dislike you, depending on the action you do and the NPC's personality)

Does it NEED improvement? No

The idea of regaining stamina at a faster rate while sitting is good, but not NEEDED

Of course, I don't think sitting in the game is needed anyway

i liked putting a dead body on a chair/bench, and then sitting on it... it was funny.

i want sitting to be in, as well as being able to grab/drag things like we could in oblivion, cause i enjoyed playing with everything i killed.

playing with dwemer centurions after breaking them will be fun, too... might even sit on them.

It should aid in restoring fatigue, and talking to someone who is sitting down while standing up or the other way around should maybe have a small penalty of some sort, like talking with your weapon drawn.

Hey did anyone ever try putting a chair sideways on a wall and try sitting on it? I wonder that would happen.

Things they can improve: no more creepy, silent stares from the NPCs when you're near them, and NPCs actually involving you in conversation when you're seated, rather than you feeling isolated.

This would be great. Two old adventurers are debating something, and if you're sitting near them they might mention you or involve you, fantastic!

If they added some type of “hard-core” mode, then sitting might be useful. Like if you can find a place to sit down and rest, your character can gain more towards reducing hunger.

In Oblivion and FO3 I always sat my man down when I called it a day.
