It doesn't show above, but I've installed MGE and MCP.
GOTY Tidy Scripts readme says, for the scenario I wanted, to load GOTYFullTidyZeroMPPv2.01.esm, then MPP 1.6.4 and then GOTYSTMPPPatchv1.0.esp in that relative order. I used Wrye Mash to modify the date for MPP and for GOTYSTMPPPatchv1.0.esp. so they would be in sequence and then mlox's mlox_user.txt to sequence the VGreetings esp files under the presumption that VGreetings.esp should be first in the loading sequence.
I get the warning "Script variable "cattlekilled" not found for dialogue type Voice
Info "EMPTY" AFAICT, this occurs with one (or more of the VGreetings esp files) because my game worked after I added the GOTY Tidy Scripts but before adding the VGreetings esp files.
After reading the readmes of each, I wanted to use both of them, but neither readme indicated a compatibility issue with the other. When I try to play MW with the mods above, the game asks if I want to continue or quit, after a few tries, I quit.
1. In practical terms, what does the message "script variable ... not found" mean?
2. Are GOTY Tidy Scripts and VGreetings incompatible, or is it just one of VGreetings esp files?
3. Obviously, I can decide to not load VGreetings, but is there a workaround instead? I had wanted both because based on the readmes they both seemed worthwhile.
Thanks,
John
