Distinctive Landscapes

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 1:06 pm

NOTE...thread is WIP

I come from the old days of playing Morrowind, when decent landscape mods were few and far between. Those days are over...introducing....

DISTINCTIVE LANDSCAPES

Since this thread just started, here are the first of the DLs...

VURT'S LEAFY WEST GASH http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8334

VURT'S ASCADIAN ISLES MOD http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=444351&id=8190

VURT'S SOLSTHEIM TREES AND BUSHES http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=444351&id=8490

VURT'S ASHLANDS OVERHAUL http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=444351&id=8200

VURT'S BITTER COAST TREES http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35080

Now the Bitter Coast region of Vvardenfell actually lives up to its name. The player now experiences visual swamplike conditions. It finally takes a long time exploring it...like a real semi-tropical swamp/wilderness should.

A few more ideas...

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30186: Adds some extra clutter to cities, but without altering the landscape or anything, so it's very compatible with other mods.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=444351&id=8378: Grass for the different regions. With the MGE version they sway in the wind. :)

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=444351&id=8490: I guess you missed this one? :D

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8353: For the regions that Vurt did not cover. Also has a Tamriel Rebuilt plugin.

And what's with the annoying color scheme? Some of your words are impossible to see against the gray background.

I will add your links...thanks. I will change the coloring too...there is only one that looks difficult to read, to me at least.

As a rule of thumb, do not color code anything unless it conveys some sort of useful information.
