Perfect timing?

I was playing the game and was at the part where you just get out of the vault 112 simulation and I just exited the garage when a group of bounty hunters were walking.I talked to them and they said that someone put a bounty on my head and started shooting at me and my dad.I wanna know if they are always there or if I just had the perfect timing to come out of the garage lol

Sounds like perfect timing. Outside of that place, I am always, over 13ish characters, attacked by two or three robobrains and one molerat.

i am no sure if there is some time trigger that sets them to attack. so be careful when fast traveling and existing buildings if you are good or evil, you could be attacked. so far they never attacked me at settlements like rivet city.

They will jump you at a spot very close by though. As for the bounty hunters, they're part of the game for any character that has a Karma rating on either extreme. If you're Good you'll have Talon mercenaries after you, if you're Evil it will be the Regulators. Only Neutral characters are exempt from being ambushed. You'll come across them every so often for the rest of the game. And there is no time trigger, it's all based on your Karma. As soon as you stop being Neutral one or the other will start showing up and making your life miserable.

I for one appreciate the Talon Company ambushes lol. They provide good gear early on, give decent experience per kill, and I just like killing them lol.

One fun thing to do is if you figure out where they spawn you can lay mines there and blow them up when they appear. :nuke:

Yes, I enjoy doing that as well. One Bottlecap Mine correctly placed can take out the whole squad in a single blast. I like their gear as well. My preferred armour is Combat Armour, so they provide me with a steady supply of spares for repairing it. They also have a helmet which Bethesda didn't put into their lists for some reason. I've added it to their gear so I can keep my Combat Helmet repaired as well. They're a pretty good source for Combat Shotguns as well, almost always there's at least one of them that uses it. Then their Laser weapons keep me well supplied with .556 ammo, after I deal with the Outcasts.
