Would that dot the "t"s and cross the "i"s?

"moving Heaven and Earth" would invoke a stronger feeling as to what the person was doing. It is much more descriptive as a word picture. I just might use it because of the emphasis in the dialogue of the events. Gives the player a passion to lean one way or the other.

This one needs a revamp I think. It is a spell to get through the "Gr?nte de la perdition" door that is magically locked.
You need the spell of:

"Brise-lien Grotte perdition" === ???

The text Book reads
"Parchemin d'invocation ouverture de porte" ====????

Parchemin d'invocation pour briser le lien magique qui clot la 'Gr?nte de la perdition'. =====????

My brain is going dead so I need help on this one. Since I have probably done some 8,000 lines. Extracted into Microsoft Word it has 1705 pages, Arktwend only had 986 pages. And I still don't know German nor French. Not complaining just comparing.

I changed it to the Cave of Perdition

Usually "lien" would be translated by things such as bond or link or tie according to context, but here it doesn't sound too good (tie would be closer to the actual meaning here I think). French can be rather vague without much damage, in English I guess it has to be more precise.

I suggest to go for "seal" which simplifies things.
"Brise-lien Grotte perdition" = Cave of Perdition Seal Breaker (Spell Breaker = Brise-Sorts in French)

"Parchemin d'invocation ouverture de porte" = Open Door conjuration scroll

"Parchemin d'invocation pour briser le lien magique qui clot la 'Grünte de la perdition'." = Conjuration scroll aimed at breaking the spell sealing the Cave of Perdition

I have these sentence translated but sheesh if it is a key call it a key.
How does these sentence mean you need a key? Because that is the item you get.

First you find the door and get this Journal entry.
Je suis passé devant la 'Grünte de la bassesse servile', mais celle-ci est close. Peut-être nécessite-t-elle un pass pour y pénétrer.

Then the next journal entry is this:
Jitutus, le scout, que j'ai rencontré à l'Auberge des petiks plats à Hãkao m'a vendu un pass spécial qui pourrait me permettre de pénétrer dans la grotte de la bassesse servile.

pass spécial == I'm thinking special pass. So I can have quest item named correctly. I go hunting for the pass. No item in the book section so look in dialogue find out Jitutus gives you a key. Well, I'm glad this only happens about about every 200 lines. So how is pass a key.

BTW: lien is more of a bond, or fetter, than a seal, IMHO.

Re. "Moving Heaven and Earth": you see, that's not what you want, so more background beforehand please...

Again, I'd keep it simple: "Lock-bashing scroll"?, or "Open Door Scroll"? If that's too vague or general : "Open Perdition Door Scroll"?

"Perdition Spell-Breaking Scoll" ? I could do shorter, but it'll cost you and you won't be able to afford it!

"pass" probably stands for passe-partout (sometimes shortened in "passe"). I don't think pass is correct French though.
The correct translation would be passkey or master key.

Nerwal is nearly 103.5% correct: "pass" is not french, and "passe" is the short-form for "passe-partout"

I can see why you are having a hard time with the mod, the french is "pas terrible"; really and truly, it needs a franco-french translation first.

a document that entitles the holder to do something such as enter a place.
ie = press pass

What were these documents called in Medieval Times?

Pass -> "sauf-conduit" in french, Safe-conduct in english, although this is the correct translation, it doesn't roll off the tongue naturally, does it? Same for Laissez-Passer...

Surely we can do better than that..... Anyone??

Sorry, I should dig a little farther. The level_creatures are leveled guards inside. but still it seems like someone should be outside telling you that your not allowed in but still you need this weird pass to open the door and if it is not the right one somehow the guards will attack you. I guess an authorization pass/document is all it can be called.

or is there another idea?

Who wants to try out Kalendaar to see what I have missed or may have screwed up by not maintaining the correct translation for cells and specific items, which I'm hoping I have not done.

What I have left to do is Tales of Treasure. This is where different people on Kalendaar sell you information on where to find an item. What it is who knows because they are random. I have not translated all the names of these items either. These tales are not related to the main quest just something to do on the side.

After that then I'll try to proof read but if anyone wants to look over what is done right now I'd gladly accept their help and input.

So go download Kalendaar from "morromods.wiwiland.net". Do not activate their esm but use Kalendaar_V1 - Eng.esm that is all that is needed.
