A random encounter where you meet the man and the boy from The Road (Cormac McCarthy) walking on their way to the coast

Heard that story was really sad. An encounter like that might even beat out the robot reciting "There Will Come Soft Rains".

Nothing is more sad than the robot reciting "There Will Come Soft Rains".

Another idea is a vault where all the inhabitants constantly play computer games non stop. Would be pretty funny to see

I would love a quest where you can get rid of the bar owner in megaton. Of course this would have to happen after completing the main quest. A quest where you can get the deed and either keep it or give the bar to gob for high karma. That bar owner is a real scumbag.

More depth for companions. I would prefer two hours more dialogue over two hours of climbing fancy hills with all sorts of monsters and detail.

I'd like to see a change in the damage rating of firearms. Condition of a firearm doesn't affect it's damage. Once the trigger is pulled, the pin hits the primer, and the bullet is air born, it's going to do the same amount of damage regardless of what the rest of the firearm looks like. I like that the weapons get damaged and have to be repaired, I just wish it didn't affect damage. Maybe with the energy weapons, but it doesn't apply to projectile weapons. A bullet fired from a brand new gun and an old rusted out pile of crap, do exactly the same damage.

Or maybe instead of affecting damage, it affects the weapon spread, with bullets pissing about all over the place. Or it jams all the time and has a risk of exploding (like old guns do in Far Cry 2 - you learn pretty quickly to use high quality weapons except in desperate situations).

It would also be good if the condition affected the appearance. A chinese assault rifle kinda dissapointingly looks exactly the same even when at 100% condition in the Operation Anchorage simulation (when surely it had only been manufactured say 6 months previously).

I would like an update that increases the level cap to 60 because then people would be able to keep playing and still have the excitement. And as the level the creatures and enemies difficulty would also increase coinciding with the higher levels

I'd like for a hardcoe mode like the one in New Vegas. I wish in the game you were forced to do things like eat, drink water, and that medicine worked realistically and that you didn't get all healed up instantly just from sleeping on a bed. I like realistic gameplay.

yea one of my little rants is that it became dissapointing everytime at level 30 i would kill somthing or find a new place and i would expect that awsum ding sound but it just didnt happen made every thing i did seem pointless and also i was extremely over powered the hardest challenge to face was a super mutant overload which still only take 5 to 8 shots to kill

Like the slimes in dragon quest?

I would want some better undergarments, Im wearing armor that does not have a shirt then when I take it off I magically have a nice ironed shirt.
Oh i'll also add toes, more enemies, more respawning enemies, the ability to start my own settlement, the ability for me to have a pet death claw (there just soooo cute)

A pet deathclaw would be cool. But how about being able to build your own cities?
