So I called GameStop and they finally got the February issue of Game Informer today. Did a little dance for joy after hanging up the phone.

However when i got to the store to pick up my copy, much to my dismay Gamestop is requiring that I sign up for their Discount Card (which cost's 15$) and subscribe to a year of GI (which costs ??$) before they will sell me the Feb Issue. I left the store 38 hot. Burning rubber could be smelled for blocks as I exited the shopping center.

Way to be complete and total [censored] GS and GI. I buy all of my games at Gamestop but after this they can lick my sack. GS will never get another dime from me...ever.

The year subscription to gi is included in the $15 to sign up for the edge discount card. Plus you get a voucher for a free used game when you buy two used games. All for $15. You also get 10% off used games with the edge card and an extra 10% when you trade in games. One issue of gi is 7 bucks so for 15 that's a pretty good deal. You said you buy all your games from gamestop so why not splurge and spend the extra 8 bucks and get the edge card and a year of gi?

Because I don't want a subscription to GI and I don't want any used games. It's a huge load of crap, just sell me the f******* mag i want gd it.

Hey worm, Draxis here. I hear you, I still haven't seen a magazine in stores around here... And my brothers subscription hasn't showed up. They told me that they won't get the magazine for two weeks! In NYC no less, something deeply wrong here I think.

They were actually really cool to me the other day. I did sign up for a year of the stuff but I am not really bothered, I usually get my money back from used games and mine had just expired. They actually gave me one that was mailed into someone so they had to mark out the address and stuff on the back. I'm just glad I got to finally see it. Off topic, has anyone else done the electronic version of GI? I figured it would be easier to take a pic of and share than scanning, which btw was horribly done for Skyrims info.

I hate GS. After a several bad experiences there I don't buy games from them anymore. Also a lot of the eployees look like drug addicts.

Fair enough. I was there yesterday but they still had the tomb raider edition. They said they should have the skyrim one on monday so I'm gonna check it out tomorrow.
