Well this might not be true but i was looking on IGN and it said fallout movie for fans sorry but i don't know how to set up links to other websites but its at IGN.com. btw i didn't read any of it yet

seen a trailer or two looked like a concept film for a budding director.....Side note, Book of Eli is the best Falloutish movie to date

A while back Bethesda formally registered the the movie rights of Fallout. Around the same time IMDB put up an entry for a post-apocalyptic movie titled "Fallout" which was currently in pre-production; many Fallout fans were understandably excited.

The movie wasn't affiliated with Bethesda however, it was wholly separate. Chances are Bethesda was registering the movie rights simply to protect their asset - and in fact not long afterward the movie was retitled "The Fallout" and then later retitled to something completely different.

Could an actual Fallout movie be in the works? I suppose so, but unless there's new information I'm unaware of I wouldn't rely on Bethesda's shiny new movie rights.
