Playable Creatures?

Post » Tue Mar 15, 2011 2:02 am

I'm looking for a mod that let's you either shape shift into creatures or wear costumes to make you look like the creature. Any mods out there that do this?

Midas has several polymorph spells including eagle form and weretiger form. There are other mods which allow werewolf transformation.

Many of the spells are acquired from quests you go on after reading the books. I believe the weretiger quest comes from the Lycanthropy book in Midas's rooms.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5814 was best for this back in the day, but the WIP is abandoned, and I don't know how outdated it could be by now with scripting. Still playable, though.

I just tried it. Works really well although the options are quite limited.

Anybody interested in helping make a mod to improve on this?

I wonder if that new varied skeleton mod would allow for skeletons that are warped enough to make playable creatures work better.

I would be cool to be able to play as any creature.

Anybody willing to help on this?

There's a playable goblin mod out there, but it's in BETA and I'm not sure it's realeasd yet. But it looks to work very well, and you can wear all types of clothing and armor on them with no problems. Can't seem to find the thread atm.
EDIT: Found it!

Looking inot getting playable creature with possible clothing aswell. Its a much better way then scripting it all, you jsut swap the player skeleton with a modified creature one.
