Journal

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 3:56 pm

I just bought Morrowind yesterday and was lucky to get with it being the last copy available

I was just wondering, what are some good mods that make the journal more user friendly?

Cheers

I am not aware of any mod that alters the Journal system.
But if you have the Tribunal expansion, then the Journal is much easier to navigate. You can see the list of Active Quests, and can search for keywords.
Click on the "Options" in the Journal window to see these features.

edit: Just in case you are new to mods, there's tons of info in the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1060141-mod-recommendations-for-new-players/page__p__15392814__fromsearch__1&#entry15392814 :)

Well, actually... none of those mods have anything to with the actual Journal system of Morrowind.
Even "Journal Enhanced" is just a Player controlled system to keep notes.
There are no mods that actually affect the Journal system of Morrowind in any way. (as far as I know... someone correct me if I'm wrong)

The method that the Journal system works is hard-coded into the game. It is very easy to see this in the CS, and I have never seen any mod that alters it any way what-so-ever.
