Does anybody else think that skyrim NEEDS to see a return of pole weapons?
Spears, polaxes and helberds we're the main weapons in medieval times, and I feel that they are a must in a game set in this sort of era.
The lack of such weapons in oblivion was a bit of a let down.
If you think otherwise, please say why.

I'm replaying Morrowind and I have to agree that not having pole arms in Oblivion was a huge detriment. I LOVE using a spear, it is great for a stealth weapon oddly enough.

I think it would add to the variety even though I never used them myself.

There are so many topics about spears, pole weapons, ect. Please use one of those, or the skyrim suggestion thread.

I'd be a very happy camper if I could get myself a powerpole.

I would say they would HAVE to be in, what better weapons to fight dragons.
