i really hope that skyrim has physics on the clothes so that when im running in my robes and in combat they will move kind of like in assassins creed brotherhood. what do you guys think. also what about putting robes over your armor like i lord of the rings those elves at the helms deep i think.

Let me wear leg armor with robes again and I'll be happy.

alright, so I got out my decoder and finally have managed to translate what you've said into English.

No one knows for sure if the engine can handle cloth physics, as for wearing robes over armor, after seeing the Game Informer screen shots, I'm leaning towards no

Realistic physics would be nice, but I play in 1st person so idc either way. However, I would like it when you drop a piece of clothing that it is realistically modeled to how regular clothes looks, not just the permanently folded thing we got in Oblivion. Then we could hang clothes up or draqe them over tables or the ends of beds.

Clothing and hair physics would be very nice. If not, good animations and a good armour/clothing system would make up for it.

They definitely should add physics for robes and cloaks. I may be wrong, but from what I've seen it looks like the physics engine(or at least the "PhysX" one) pretty much does all the work by itself, you just need to enable it for certain materials. It's not too hard and it makes the game much more immersive. I mean, just imagine your cloak reacting realistically to a blizzard while you're climbing a mountain trying to reach a mysterious cave or something. Batman: AA devs did it, why can't Bethesda do the same?

you know assassins creed doesn't even have clothes physics, they use a set of animations for it, which is possible in Oblivion you just need a morph controler

Well I would say mainly because Batman: AA is using an engine that can do it and we don't know if the new engine can lol. But I would have to say that it should be possible, they did say branches of the trees would react to wind so it is certainly possible.

I would agree with this. As long as it doesn't distract too much from getting rid of bugs and conflicts with more important aspects of the game. Would most certainly be nice.
