Play only after finishing Take it Back Quest and if Raven Rock has been "destroyed."
You can play it any other time (such as if you did not destroy Raven Rock) but it does not really make any sense to do so
and odd things such as locked doors you cannot open situations may occur. Additionally, if installed before the Quest
Take It Back is complete, it will ruin that quest.
A battered door is by the entrance and debris is all over, still smoking from the previous destruction, but the Enclave
have excavated their fortress entrance. Things are not as badly damaged as they seem...
Based on the mod "No Rocks in Front of Raven Rock" by dilandaux.
Installation:
Check if bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 in Fallout.ini.
---Unpack to Copy in fallout3/data folder
--use a Mod Manager such as FOMM to select RavenRockForever.esp
--If you do not have Broken Steel installed use RavenRockForeverNO_BS.esp
---Load up a saved game and Fast Travel to Raven Rock and enter the tunnuel(you should have a marker after completing the
quest)
For best results:
--Avoid having ANY other Raven Rock mods active (doors may remain locked etc) else load Raven RockForever after them
This works for Martigen's Mutant Mod and the advice is repeated here, else for one thing, the battered, outside Large
Metal door will not appear.
* Go inside somewhere with NO creatures or NPCs (Megaton/Tenpenny home works well)
* Wait / sleep 4 days to let cells reset
* Save and quit
* Disable RavenRockForever (if you have any previous version)
* Load your game, save your game, quit
* Re-enable RavenRockForever.esp
When attempting entry into the vault, before doing so , SAVE as the battered door sometimes falls shut and you cannot get
in. Jumping up the right hand side of the door usually prys it loose 9 /10 times allowing your entry. On that 10th
time, reload your saved game and try again.
Features:
--ALL levels are available, go down and visit a captive in their stasis pod in the cell area. You can even release them!
--References are there in the other cell stasis pods so you can mod in and add your favorite NPC's to rescue.
--The Raven Rock zone is set to re-spawn, so every few days come back for a visit (captives have not been set to
respawn).
--Various robots have been changed to remove their quest specific behavior and to better fit in with Enclave operations.
--A Nuka Cola machine is available that will use prewar money to dispense the drinks including Quantum, a reason for a
return visit now and then.
--Be sure to say hello to the President
Issues:
--The caged Deathclaw MAY respawn, but its docile (drugged, maybe , that's lore) and will not attack unless you fire on
it so do the poor beast a favor and close its cage.
--Followers will not enter the vault with you. It's so horrible in there that only YOU are crazy enough to venture back
in. However this can be overcome with Remote Controlled Companions Plus
--The interior doors are probably all still open, so if a door was left open the last time you popped in and said
"hello," chances are the Enclave maids never closed it behind you.
--The original RavenRock quest was set up for specific things in mind thus some area's like the closed off Archive have
no furniture or other items (mod fodder alert).
--If you leave any robots reprogrammed to assist you, they may still be friendly if you return.
Other:
--If you wish to force a quick respawn (want to rescue the captives again etc):
*Disable RavenRockForever
*Load a save; save
*Re-enable RavenRockForever
*Load a save and revisit

Uncheck RavinRockForever.esp
Suggested mod use:
Robotics Expert Improved 1_1 ENG Marcuz (useful for reprogramming the Enclave robots)
Remote Control Companions Plus by b3w4r3 (Useful for having companions follow you in)
