'GNR - More Where That Came From' Pipboy Silence

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 11:25 pm

I've recently downloaded 'GNR - More Where That Came From', and I installed it correctly but most of the time when I have GNR turned on with my Pipboy it turns to silence when switching to a new song. I can hear every song perfectly from radios scattered throughout the wasteland, but there is silence for a lot of the GNR songs on my Pipboy. I can hear Three Dog and every vanilla song okay I think though, but I'm still not so sure what's silent and what isn't. This can sometimes only be fixed by loading a save or restarting the game.

What's the problem here?

It's caused by all the metadata (song title, artist, album cover, etc) added onto each song.

Read this topic for details and a fix: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1071272-bug-with-new-songs-from-more-where-that-came-from

Also, if you have the choppy radio problem, there's a fix for that in the topic too. It's a bad MP3 codec problem, and there's a means to disable the codec in question and replace it with a different MP3 codec.

I already removed the metadata though. It's not just a pause, I mean It's an EXTREMELY long silence that can go through one song or multiple. Some songs just simply don't work on the Pipboy, but in the wasteland radios they do.
