New Manhattan Thread 7

Mieux gave a shrug, "I'm not concerned, I have nothing to 'report' to the enemy. If anything, I am useless as an information well, considering I have just shipped off the terms of surrender to Director Snowe. If Snowe is calm enough to surrender, then I think you'll be giving your boys some very good cigars." Mieuxs face twisted into that sly smile he got whenever he was very flush with joy or amusemant. Sutler didnt know it, but if Snowe agreed to this treaty, he'd be happier than a boy on christmas morning.

Director William Snowe

"Director, this man doesn't want to kill you, but he won't mind." he informed. William laughed as he heard the letter be read. Mieux would never come to a peace treaty. He's desperate and William knew it.

As the Don began to explain the processes of gaining their bearings back, William smiled. "Don't you see old friend? Mieux is desperate. If he could win, he already would've won. My men are attacking Arcadia as we speak! 43 hours? We'd have Arcadia won in 10 hours."

He thought for a moment. All of his technology was barely usable considering that Arcadia was merely a couple blocks from New Manhattan. William sighed. "However. If the ten hour attack on Arcadia doesn't work, I will back down and create a settlement...on my own terms."

Captain Nikov

"We're linked up with First Legion, over."
V-L 1-3 looked at the positions of the Sentry Bots and the pilot smiled. "Missiles 2 and 4 inbound. Danger close."
The Vertibird shot two missiles at the Sentry bots, neutralizing the obstacle to Justin's tower. As both Nikov's elite squad and the First Legion moved towards the tower, some died from the Frag mines but many still made it.

The last obstacle was the blast door. Even the dreaded Reaper couldn't short circuit the massive blast door. It was as hard as a Vault door. Nikov sighed. "Alright, try and find some kind of circuit board to cut. Go!"

The squads split up and circled around the tower like hungry wolves, looking for a way in.

Don Frank Vercelotti

"Don't you see old friend? Mieux is desperate. If he could win, he already would've won. My men are attacking Arcadia as we speak! 43 hours? We'd have Arcadia won in 10 hours." William said, after chuckling at the contents of the letter.

Frank glanced at the letter once more, contemplating the Directors response.

But then the Director heaved a sigh before opening his mouth to speak once more; "However. If the ten hour attack on Arcadia doesn't work, I will back down and create a settlement...on my own terms." he said.

"Sounds reasonable." Frank remarked. "However, you must understand that as a self-preservation measure, I have to remain neutral during this. That means I cannot allow you to use my men any longer." he warned. His reasoning was sound; if under the circumstances that William loses, Mieux would have reason to harbor distaste for the Don. He could not allow that.

Alexander Scalatti

Alex looked at the security camera. "Damn! They are trying to enter the elevator!" Alex grabbed a Marksmen Cabine from a dead guard and loaded it.

Sergeant Fredrick

"Fredrick, the is LF Command, our president is trapped inside of the penthouse, relive him please." Fredrick hung up the line. Around 400 LF troops were advancing toward Arcadia.

"Sir, open fire?"
"Oorah private. DEATH TO THE GP!!!"

The 400 LF soldiers began to fire their weapons. Many GP soldiers were dropped. "ADVANCE!!!"

Harris

"SIR LAKE FEDERATION SOLDIERS OPENING FIRE ON GP!"

"Keep calm, they won't fire at us if we don't fire."

Harris walked over to Fredrick and tapped him on the shoulder. "Holy [censored]! Mutie!"

"I'm a friend, i'm here to help."

"Whatever you say mutie, charge in and wipe them out."

Harris ordered his 100 mutants to charge. They all had rebar clubs or baseball bats. The remaining GP outside of the gate were mopped up the LF and mutants.
