The topic description is basically my problem.

I got daggerfall to work, but when I get to the game menu, my mouse doesn't move.

the dosbox mouse is there, but it won't change to the daggerfall mouse, which rests in the top left corner of the screen.

I'm running windows vista 32 bit, and on the start up of dosbox, this is run:

mount c c:\dosgames -freesize 1000
mount d c:\dosgames\dagger -t cdrom -label daggerfall
c:
cd\dagger
fall z.cfg

Ctrl+F10 will lock the mouse to the screen i had this problem aswell (type it again to unlock)

I just saw the other thread, sorry for the dup.

but now, my mouse is lagging terribly and I can't click anything.

even running my cpu at 1%, the mouse still lags.

any suggestions?

also, during the installation, the mouse moved fine.

turning up your frameskip with ctrl+F12 to around 30,000 might help (you can turn it down by pressing F11 instead)
