Why would you need a floppy disk to install? I didn't see that implied anywhere.

From what I understand, you do not need anything other than the install file and DOSBox to get Daggerfree up and running. Just follow the instructions.

Ok, so I'm getting a message when I reload my game saying that I've "fallen to the ground completely exhausted" and that I will "awaken in one hour", but my game won't continue. It seems to be frozen on the reload screen. I only have one save, and any time I try to restart from that save I get the same message. What should I do? Do I wait it out? Or, do I need to start a new game now?

run fixsave on that savegame, and thenread the tutorials on how to run it in dosbox and the best way to set it up.
