So I finally figured out how to stop fallout 3 from crashing on start up and now as I get through vault 101 the game starts to slow down and then it just stops and freezes. any sugestions?

If the problem is the same is mine, the game crashing randomly when out in the wastelands for no reason or going into different areas like Megaton and the like. All I did was turned off all 3 auto-saves features and saved the game through the menu when I wanted to save.
