If I understand well, you suggest to reduce the effectiveness of sanctuary potions to a fifth (in points or in duration?) of the current one.
It should be a fifth both ways, assuming the effectiveness of potions scales linearly as I'm assuming (some feedback from you would help to confirm that)
I guess I'm ok, as one will still be able to get a decent bonus protection when stacking a few potions, but he'll not be able to do it for all fights nor turn into a god mode for 2 minutes with only 2 or 3 potions.
Well, as you've pointed out, the two ingredients that allow for a Sanctuary potion free of negative effects aren't the hardest ones to come across, and I can only fight the concept of "stacking" so much before I finally accept the fact that it's something people are going to do, anyways.
So, yes, that's very much the idea. You can stack a couple of Sanctuary potions to somewhat decent effect, but it would take way too much effort and too much stacking to achieve godhood for more than just a few seconds.
I'm glad you've considered balancing the sanctuary effect, thx.
'eh, I should be thanking you for reminding me of it.
Honestly, this is something I thought about back when I made the decision to add Sanctuary as an effect. I considered raising the effect of Sanctuary back then just as I'm doing now, but I figured I could get away with it.
So, yeah...
Give me a few minutes to make my updates, and then I'll post the update.
