For all those playing on the consoles, is there any word that there will be gear for our Dashboard/Home Avatars?

If there is or isn't, what would you like to see?

Just some ideas that crossed my mind.

Gear:
The Bug's mask
Hockey mask
Graffiti Wife Beater
Security Sunglasses
The Jesse's vest
The Freak's Jacket
The Bomb's Vest

Props:
Ammo pack (juggle animation)
Engineer's Turret
Operative's Hacker Terminal

If anything, the Bug's mask and the Anger's facemask will be the awards

I wouldn't mind stuff if you could unlock it from doing things in game, no way I would pay money for any of it though.

What short of actiosn would award you what? Be creative.

The Anger Facemask
- Complete the Resistance Campaign

The Bug Facemask
- Complete the Security Campaign

Having any thing as of avatar items it good.

We need more PSN avatars, I'm not particularly interested in ANY of them... :huh: At the moment, mine's some orange frog-beast from an RTS game that hasn't been released yet and that I'll probably never play.

I'd really love some Brink avatars, I'd wear mine with pride!

For costumes that you can buy it should be the archetypes. But for awards they should be:
1. Angers mouth bandana
2. Bugs mask
3. The Resistance symbol on a black t-shirt (r inside a circle)

If theres going to be any avatar awards its gonna be:
Resistance shirt (Beat resistance campaign)
Security shirt (Beat resistance campaign)
Veteran Beret (Cause you know there isn't enough berets in the avatar marketplace, also its unlocked by getting 100 kills online or something.)
Anger mask (Beat any campaign on the highest difficulty, you know cause theres going be alot people trying for it, might as well make it hard to achieve.)

Just some ideas of mine.

That would be cool! I'd like to unlock The Anger's mask, the Dude's tyre armour, the Fortress' helmet/mask, the G's T-shirt, the Shield's armour, the Freak's costume, the Bug's costume, and the Shield's costume.

They have avatars for PS3 damn! I had no idea.

They not only have avatars but theyre alot better than the xboxs and they have their own little world to walk around in and buy more stuff. Frankly, in comparison, the xbox folks got shafted on the avatar bit. But Live is still better than PSN, IMO of course.

Yeah, the avatar goes alongside your PSN ID in your friends list or on any Sony-run PS3 forums. Changing it should be under Account Options.

But what's this about avatars walking around buying stuff? :huh:

Easy; mask for each side, shirt for each side, and a couple of props.

PSN "Home" is a sims style social program attached with to the PSN for free, its technically in beta, for the past 3 years. Anyway, you can have a "avatar" and walk them around through various enviroments or "spaces" and interact with other players.

The avatar you're talking about is simply a image associated with yout PSN tag. Home is a whole other boat...but it essentially breaks down to a giant mess of advertisemants trying to get you to buy virtual junk lol.

... I don't think we have this in New Zealand. :huh:
