Game crashes at new game load screen : Fallout 3

Howdy!

I built a new system, got a fairly good set up, and the one game I would LOVE to play... no workie.

I've tried just about every fix I can find, (Multicore thread, windowed, audio drivers, compatibility issues, water settings, Win live updates, game updates, etc.) and I'm really starting to lose hope.

I'm worried it's something to do with my graphics card, but I'm not that knowledgeable on it all.

Please help me regain my faith. Thank you all in advance!

Answered in the other thread you posted in....btw, you did the right thing in creating a new thread for yourself.

I see that you are using an Asus video card. If you have their GamerOSD or Smartdoctor utilities installed, get rid of them. They will interfere with the game.
