been working on a West Gash replacer, always reckoned Vvardenfel was missing some woodland, and because i can practically do what i want to my game i decided toooo...
"EXTREME MAKEOVER VIDEOGAME EDITION" my game.
so yeh, i made the west gash the: "West Gash a Woodland!" first i've just been making new textures and using BM models for the new trees (btw, there's HARDLY any clipping at all)

wow, that's small with no typos or slurs

Very interesting idea! : )
I really love your revamped version of the West Gash scenery, now slightly different than the autumnal 'arid' feeling of the vanilla version. Despite that it may not fit perfectly with the original lore, the visual appearance is eye-catching and seem very cool. Nice work! ^^

I kinda like it; it reminds me of Gothic2 (in a good way) :)

You know, it really could fit the lore with some care. Before the cataclysm, it appears that the Red Mountain was actually lush and forested - and you can clearly see that there were large numbers of burned trees. Considering how long these events happened from the present day, it wouldn't be surprising if the vegetation returned in some areas, particularly further away from the volcano.

In fact, making the West Gash area look a bit like some of the areas around Mount Saint Helens, or even Hawaii, could result in a believable region that would have heavy vegetation. IOW, burned rocks here and there, but otherwise grassy and full of trees. In a lot of ways, this is MORE believable, because once volcanic soils have been washed a few times (to leach out the toxic stuff), the remaining soil is very fertile.
