A rain of Devine Light

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 3:07 pm

My spell is supposed to cause many custom lights to fall from the hevans. So far it has only worked while I am in deep water or while I am above the land useing the consle command TCL. Both times The custom lights appeared ( it they appeared at all) below me. and while i was above the land thay did not fall at all but just floted therer untill I undid the TCL command. If I cast the spell, whether it works or not, I can not cast it again in that same world space without first exiting it and then re-entering it. I do not know what is wrong. Any Ideas? Hear is the Script:

Scn AAGliteringShowerBegin ScriptEffectStartR1.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R2.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R3.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R4.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R5.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R6.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R7.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R8.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R9.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R10.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R11.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R12.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R13.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R14.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R15.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R16.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R17.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R18.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R19.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R20.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R21.MoveTo Player (0,0,200)R22.Moveto Player (0,0,200)End

Any help would be appreiciated.

Could it be something to do with the fact that all the lights will appear inside each other? Try changing the x and y co-ordinates of each slightly.

Nope that did not work though I found that if i do the spell while in the air It sometimes works, although the lights always appear just below ground level and they are still clumped together, when they are sopposed to appear above the player.

Still need help.

However there is still one problem, the spell only works once per instince per world space. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Hear is the curent Script:

I think you have to move the lights after the spells finish to a dummy cell.

Do you meen like give the spell a time limit and then, when the limit is up, have the lights move to a dummy cell?

I think that's what he means, somthing like this:
Scn AAGliteringShowerBegin ScriptEffectStart;sumins Gem Lights to fall from above the playerR1.DisableR1.MoveTo Player 0,1,95 R1.EnableR2.DisableR2.MoveTo Player 0,2,100R2.Enableetc.EndBegin SpellEffectFinish ;(or is it end?)R1.MoveTo [a marker in a dummy cell]R2.MoveTo [the same marker]etc.End
