MWE and MWSE

can Morrowind Enhanced and Morrowind Script Extender be run at the same time? I have a couple mods that need MWSE to run and I want to add Oblivion Style Spell Casting but it uses MWE.

When I tried pressing "C" to cast a spell with it it crashed.
