Overwriting soundtrack problem

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 7:15 pm

Hi there, I have problem, because I'm trying to overwrite standard Fallout 3 soundtrack with good old Fallout 2 soundtrack. I know it's possible to just add new mp3 files into the folder, but I don't want old ones. When I tried to overwrite FO3 soundtrack with new, then I just lost music in the game :/ Is there anywhere path to the mp3 files in GECK or ini?

Um not too sure. usually if name the file you want as the soundtrack the same as the one your trying to overwrite and put it in the same file and overwrite it should by rights change it, Backup before you do though and make sure its the same file type

Tried that, overwrited with the same file name and same mp3 format and I didn't have any sound in game :/ but I made backup at least.
