100% Invis

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 4:20 pm

How do I get 100% invis? Please provide a detailed explanition. I beat the game once before, and started over to have fun with this. I have Azura's Star and Soul Trap spell. What else do I need to do this (and how do I do it)? Thanks,

And say I got 5 black soul gems (w/ souls) but when I click on it, the menu is empty. I can't do anything with it. Why not?

Invisibility is always at 100%. I believe you are thinking of Chameleon, which unlike Invisibility, remains in effect when you attack someone, pick their pocket, go through a door, etc... You can find all about it http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Chameleon.

To trap souls, you need an empty soul gem that is large enough to hold the soul you are trying to trap. Then you cast Soul Trap on your target, and as long as they die while it is in effect, their soul is svcked away into your gem. Azura's Star is of course a Grand soul gem, and is reusable so it is your best option. There is lots more on Soul Trapping http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Soul_Trap.

Soul gems (black or not) are used for recharging magic items. When you click on a filled soul gem, it will show you a list of all your magic items that are not fully charged. You just click on the item, and the gem is used to charge it. It might that you are not seeing anything in the list because all of your magic items are charged up. Also keep in mind that only offensive items will lose their charges. Pieces of armor or clothing always remain fully charged.

What souls can the Azura Star capture? I tried a human, but it didn't work. And once I have A soul inside the Azura Star, how do I enchant a piece of clothing?

Azura's start is a reusable grand soul gem, you can capture the soul of any creature, but not the ones of npc's (humans, elves, dremora…). I haven't had this item myself, so I may be wrong about this (the previous question I had consulted in the wiki), but seeing how the other soulgems work and how this item works in Morrowind, I would say you only need to select in the enchanting altar, the piece of cloth, Azura's star and the effect you want.

u can 'get' 4 Sigil Stones at 30% Chameleon = 120%. No one will ever see you at all.

For 100% Chameleon, you just need to enchant 4 pieces of clothing including accessories such as rings and amulets) so that the total is 100%. As pdesbois said, 4 max sigil stones will do it, but that's more than you need. I think it's easier to just use 2 or 3 max sigil stones to get 60% or 90%, respectively, and then make up the difference with normal soul gems of the appropriate level.

Some people will make 90% or so in order to avoid being totally invisible. It's up to you, though.

Human souls can only be trapped in black soul gems. The process works the same as regular soul gems aside from that restriction.

A daedra quest will give you the Ring of Kajiit, which is 30 percent chameleon. And a transcendent sigil can give you 25 percent chameleon. Either dupe the sigil stone, or close multiple gates, save and reload, until you get the stones you want.

Please forgive me for making a couple slight corrections to your info. :)

1. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Ring_of_Khajiiti provides 35 chameleon.

2. A transcendent http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Sigil_Stone#Effects_and_Magnitudes provides 30 chameleon.

*

As mentioned above of course, one can craft an item with http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Enchanting#Worn_Enchantments. A grand or black soul will provide 20 chameleon.

Corrections are good. I haven't played in almost a year. Starting up again, due to giving my sister the game for Christmas.
