Is the Pariah dog Dogmeat? Because when I found him, there was totally a corpse that had blue torn clothing, and I'm pretty sure it was part of the Vault Suit sprite.

So, maybe after the Lone Wanderer got kicked out of the vault, his dog was like, I'M SUPER HIGH LEVEL! I HAVE 750 HP! I'M KILLIN' DEATH CLAWS AND GECKOS AND EVERYTHIIIIING! and then killed the Vault Dweller, by accident or because he turned crazy.

Is there any information on this?

I'm probably totally wrong. Maybe it's in the Fallout bible, but I'm too chicken to read too much of it in case I get spoiled (I'm not done FO2 yet! I just found the dog myself).

The Pariah Dog is not Dogmeat I.

Dogmeat I by canon died in the mariposa military base, which by anacdotal evidence is where a lot of players in the real world seem to lose him.

This is established in the Fallout 2 Manual.

No, not that I'm aware of, and the Wiki is bare of info.

How did Dogmeat kill the Vault Dweller since the VD started the village and left the elder with his jumpsuit?

Btw, officially Dogmeat died, but my Dogmeat lives after the killing of the Master. It was hard to keep him alive.

Pariah Dog is pretty much just an 'extra' companion. It is possible to get Dogmeat from the cafe of broken dreams alongside Pariah Dog and then you can go get Robo Dog and K9 as well and go to Redding and have that dog follow you around town so that you have five dogs following you in Redding all at once which I have done before and it was pretty special.
