In the past games, they never really get to into to much detail about anything astronomical. I, for one, would like to see it at least be touched on a little more. thoughts?

I was hoping this thread was going to be about using stars for navigation.

It looks to me like the perks may be organised in constellations based on what star sign they relate to. Though someone probably already thought of something like that. And I'm sure you're probably thinking of something else, though I'm not sure what.

What are you talking about "they never got into much detail" !? It's all in the books -- there's plenty of books about astronomy in TES. The Firmament, for one --- there's others too. Check out the imperial library website ;)

It looks like that looking up to the skies give you info on your character. Although a more seamless way to check on your info, if it does indeed work that way, I hope you have to press a key or something. I love looking up in-game, they do amazing night skies *Shivering Isles*. I would miss it.

I know, but it's not enough. Some info on the constellations, the moons, and the sun. Thats all well and good, but it's to vague.

God, the Orrery was a massive letdown, and I'm not talking about the useless powers. I want to go into a mages' guild ( or college of whispers or whatever ) and see star charts on the walls. An observatory somewhere would be a wonderful touch.
