Can anyone make me this?

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 4:45 pm

I am currently working on a desert mod. Its very nice so far, look awesome, but i would really really appreciate someone helping me by making something for it.
I would like someone to make a series of Turbans and Fezes, just to make it that much more awesome. The women in the desert have veils, but i would like the men to wear turbans and fezes. it would be so cool.
And if its not too much to ask, some Shalvars and desert like robes and maybe some vests for men, like the kind Aladdin wears in Disneys movie. ^_^
So anyways if you would like to be of service and be part of my team, I would love to welcome you.

Westly has some turban-style clothing in his Alakazar's Lamp mod.
But you will have to personally contact him about using them in your own mod.

PM Westly, he might allow you to use some of the amazing stuff he made for his middle eastern style race. (what Pluto said :))

Otherwise, check http://morromods.wiwiland.net/spip.php?article753 it has a turban mesh in it, and the author has granted permission to use certain meshes, turban included (this is where Westly got his mesh). Could probably use a retexture for your purposes though. And there are http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=669.

As Melchior said, the meshes are fine to use as the one's in Alakazar's Lamp did, indeed, originate from the Angelus mod (and the meshes are fine to use). However, I suggest using the ones from the Angelus mod itself, rather than Alakazar's Lamp. The reason for this is that the ones from the Angelus mod already coordinate with existing in game robes (utilising the robe textures as the turban texture as well) whereas mine match up with the clothing presented in Alakazar's. By doing this, you keep the files that one needs to a minimum (thus avoiding conflicts and what have you).

EDIT: Also, using the meshes from Angelus saves one from downloading the monster of a mod that is Alakazar's (which is beneficial if one is not actually playing Alakazar's ;) )

Take Care

I linked to it in my post. It might be in volume 1 http://morromods.wiwiland.net/spip.php?article414. I'm not sure.

Unless I've changed the filenames and don't remember doing so, they are just called Turban_01, 03. They'll be in the Skycity folder.

The thread was deserted by the time I arrived but the smell of spam still lingered in the air
