Considering the situation, I guess I ought to post now.

But could someone explain, in more depth, where the police/military forces are and what they're doing? And what attack is going on(unless that was just Zoey?)? Stupid questions, but I don't want to make a poor and inaccurate post.

The attack is in response to Dan's last post where his character attacked a Warren bunker, which had some Warren Soldiers inside it. And as for the rest of the military, I believe they're loitering around, but probably some are going off to investigate what the problem is?

Indeed, the attack is Dan's taking out the men in a small bunker overlooking The Warren. Ellis is taking 6 men with him, William may or may not be going too. There's still guards about, but if you're thinking of sneaking out now you might as well. I hadn't really intended on apprehending you, just having Ellis speak with you a bit.

It's all good though.

Thanks a lot, guys, for the explanation. :] Kathy may or may not try to sneak out now, but she'll probably everyone else get out early either way. I wanted to check, anyways-and I'll be posting today.

Finally got around to posting. Figured I ought to note, if I haven't already(or if I haven't done that and haven't made it clear IC), that Kathy's decision on what side she's on isn't definite yet. I suppose one can always try to switch sides at any time, but she really hasn't picked(mostly) her original choice yet. Though there's obvious favor toward which ever side Zoey and Cain are on, it doesn't determine it entirely. Yet, anyways.

And I haven't seen a point where Kathy has been driven to be emotional enough(ignoring the case with Damien) to make her emotions totally(or nearly so) control her behavior(so to speak). So yeah.

Oh, and if I made any mistakes(when it comes to accuracy with the RP), please say so. :]

I have not posted yet, but I would like those who have been looking forward to Johnny to know, he is still in fact apart of the voyage with Kathy, Cain (I believe), and Mirvin.

I'm not sure if Cain is still currently with them, actually. Since part of his job was to be hidden somewhere, ready to make use of his sniping skills during the debate if aforementioned skills were needed. If he's not with them, though, Kathy will be quick to fix that problem. Or try, to be more accurate. I didn't really focus on it in my last post due to the fact that I'm not sure exactly where he is.

That is, of course, if everyone agrees with her for the majority to get out sooner(as in, now) than later. Though she might check on him either way.

And thanks for the clarification. I figured he was, but couldn't be positive. :]

Does anybody know if Mr.SmileySmile is going to be around to post and lead the group off to the bunker on the outskirts? If not should I wait for Dan to post?

I believe MrSmileysmile won't be around anymore, he may pop in from time to time but he said he was no ;longer going to be active.

My formal apologies, I haven't been able to access these forums. Seems like this is starting to decay at the edges, but I'm hoping will be able to keep this going. I will be making a post by tomorrow.

Sorry for the rushed/mangled post, just thought I'd make one last entry into Ali's story before I left here for a good while. Hope the Warren doesn't wilt anymore than it has, and the story that's planned keeps going strong. Good luck everyone.

I posted again, I'll try to post most weekends now though only on the weekends.

I found a coffee spot with wireless so I'll be around again now.

Seems like The Warren has mostly fallen apart, hope we get most of you back. If Dan doesn't return sometime soon and no one particularly wants to control his character I'll probably either take over his character or kill him off.

Should be interesting though. It's gone back to war, but at least this time it's posters versus posters instead of posters versus NPCs.

I'll probably post again (this weekend I mean, I'll definitely post again on future weekends) so feel free to send me PMs regarding this shoot out.

I talked with Venix just now and I'll be taking the reins for The Warren.

I can only check in on the weekends for the most part, perhaps occasionally during the week if I get lucky and have some extra time.

I think it would be wise to try to settle this firefight rather quickly, particularly since Dan227 seems to have stepped out. Once it's settled we can have smaller groups going out on their own little adventures and reconnecting in either The Warren or the CDC Building/Notoh Campsite.

I wouldn't mind seeing the adventures of Kathy/MIRVIN taking place while Cain is out on adventures of his own with whomever.

Anyway some of the characters introduced through this topic are too good to turn to dust.

My thinking was to keep The Warren as a hostile settlement with it's eventual defeat as a long term goal, that could be the driving point behind whatever adventures our characters might take in nearby new lands.

I have to admit that I'm totally lost as to what's going on the RP at this very moment-or who's still in or out.

If I could have a bit of a clarification, I'd appreciate it. :] I know I should just read the posts myself, but I'm often either working on the Vault RP or doing homework.

Kathy, MIRVIN, and Cain are still in The Warren, not really sure where they are as their respective posters haven't posted, but they don't seem to have left.

Eli Jessop (brother to Samuel Jessop) and his friends have joined Dan's forces, at least in so much as they too are attacking The Warren Army and Warren Security Forces. It seems most of the casualties have fallen on The Warren Army side thus far.

Meanwhile Zoey and her group are out somewhere and have engaged with a group of Blackthorn Mercenaries believed to be hired by Ellis.

That's about it. Not sure where DarkZerker's character is, Arthur Kaplan (head of the Notoh Tribe) and Guy Montag (autistic guy) are in the CDC Building and at the campfire respectively.

Something interesting will be happening with DarkZerker's character soon.

I probably won't post today, but I should post sometime within the next three. I would like to say it would be tomorrow-but I have a couple of projects due soon.

If something interesting is going to be happening then I'll hold my post back until after DarkZerker posts then. As for the fight at the bunker I set it up so that one of Dan's men left a fuel air explosive behind them when they left so if Dan really wants to come back there would be a spot in the story for him to fit right back in.

As for the idea of the characters having adventures outside the Warren with the intention of finding some method to bringing it down I believe that would be good. Having everyone cooped up in the Warren might be difficult for the plot.

DarkZerker isn't actually posting anymore, he's participating in too many RPs.

I'm going to wait awhile and see if there is enough interest to keep it alive without me. If there isn't I'll just talk with you, Officer Norman, and Venix to bring this to an end and then put some kind of ending on the RP. After that if people want to they can write their own little stories about their character's adventures trying to either expand The Warren's territory or take back The Warren.

I am interested, honestly-it's just that I have to manage my Vault RP at the moment and am otherwise studying for a test. Note that I hadn't known I would have to do this, or other things, when I planned to post earlier. I'll be posting in the Vault RP tonight-and if I have time, in the Warren RP. If I don't, I'll have to do it on Friday, when I know that I don't have to prepared for the next school day.

Sorry for the lesser amount of dedication-I had thought this had died by the time I whipped the Vault RP idea up and presented it to the public forums, and thus had (some) free time and didn't think it would be a problem.

When I do post, I'll just have Kathy split off from her current group to investigate the situation, not much more choice to it than that, at this point.

Same with me guys, I'm still up for RPing in The Warren. But I thought it had died, so joined several other RPs. If everyone wants to carry on this RP then I'll post with Mirvin when I get a chance.

I'd particularly like to hear from OfficerDan and Venix, since you two have been around the longest, posted the most reliably, and have central roles thus far.

I'm hoping ending it out and entering a new phase might allow for some of the writers to either start a new RP based around retaking The Warren, or just fan fics set in the same area with some of the same characters/factions etc. etc.

I'm thinking about making a more traditional story in the ES Forum too. It would be awhile before I post it, as I'm trying to come up w/ scenarios whilst studying/working out/working so it is slow going. Let me know if you're interested though, I'd love to get some people from here to participate in it over there.

Anyway.

Alright then Smiley, I'll try to get a post done sometime tomorrow. Its been a long run and I wouldn't want it to end without the proper proceedings.

Perhaps what the people really need is this new phase, with posters trying to actively take the Warren back. I'm sure it will spark interest and inspiration again.
