i just bought fallout 3 goty, have just played new vegas an loved it, so i bought '3'.

i got it home an installed it and the dlc also an hv had nothing but problems, which peevs me cause it looks like a damn good game.

i'm running win 7 ultimate, intel i5, gigabyte p55a-ud3 motherboard, video card ati radeon hd5700

can anyone offer any ideas, when i start the game it says something like 'running in windows 7 basic colour' ???

Fallout 3 was released before Windows 7 and there are some compatibility issues. It can be fixed with a few INI edits and maybe some other things, if you do a search in here for "Win7" you can probably find a topic outlining how to adjust the game so it will run for you.
