There once was a time when I could hold the right mouse button, and freely rotate objects in the render window all day long. Those days have long passed. Some stupid popup keeps coming up with "LOD Land Textures" and crap in the render window when I right click to try to rotate something. Rotating almost NEVER works now.

When you want to rotate, just make sure the cursor is over the object you want to rotate. :shrug:

You know, I noticed while playing that when I'm blocking my character will block and unblock and block and unblock, something obviously is wrong with my right mouse button.

That was a real problem on my previous mouse...

I just started having the same problem today. Everything was working fine 2 days ago when I last used CS, but today I can't rotate anything. Same mouse, no new software. RMB works just fine, I can right click anything for a menu, but nothing will rotate.

edit: Cannot rotate anything in the Morrowind CS or the GECK (Fallout 3 CS) either.
And I suppose saying they won't rotate at all isn't accurate. If I spam right click it and make some movements, it will rotate a small degree, but I have no control over it.

edit2: Nevermind, looks like my RMB decided to die completely. Have had it less than 2 months. :swear:

Maybe get a new mouse if you say that's partially to blame?
