TimeScale in the CS (mod)?

How can I adjust the timescale in the CS?

I am wanting to create 2 mods: the first that will let the game run in real time and the other will run the game in half the time. That way, people get a choice when I release both mods.

Question: how would I make this in the CS? I can't find a guide/tutorial and the best I found was a console command. But I want to share my mod with the community and need something better than just a console command. I need to know how to do this in the CS. Please help.

Make a quest whose script applies from the very beginning of the game, where the script contains the timescale command.

If you want to change it directly, rather than through script, go to Gameplay->Globals... and find TimeScale in the list.

Ok i'm confused. how can i do this too? i tried making an esp and went to gamplay>globals>timescale. I changed this to 1 from 30. Yet time is still the same.

i tried the console and (set timescale to 1). This worked. Why won't the construction set work when I try it the way falchya says??
