Firstly, a hearty welcome to the forum! :icecream:
Someone will likely be along to issue you a stick made of fish, but I quite prefer blueberry ice cream.
Now toward your question - well, sort of. My character is a wood elf, but she hates vampires. Some of that is because Azura chose her as a Slayer, but part of it also is because she was almost killed by a vampire once. http://i668.photobucket.com/albums/vv43/Acadian6/Cho%20Bk%201/ScreenShot624.jpg
But of course that doesn't really answer any of your question, so let me meander in that direction. . . . From her point of view - quite understandably I should think - she perhaps fears orc vampires the most. They are big and green and mean and fast and are born with the teeth for it. They have 25% magic resistance. The face of an orc takes cosmetically to vampirism quite well - in fact it probably improves their stunningly beautiful features. Don't get me wrong now; my character actually quite likes orcs - but when they are vampires . . . well, http://i668.photobucket.com/albums/vv43/Acadian6/buffy1.jpg.
Birthsign? Now, well that really brings up what kind of vampire you want. I should think the prudently aspiring bloodsvcker would hope to be born under a sign that enhances their chosen style. A mighty warrior might choose to grab that very birthsign (Warrior), while a sneakster is likely to pickpocket the Thief as a birthsign. Those who dribble, or rather dabble in magic - or even those who are multi-talented or well-rounded souls would be well-advised to consider the Mage. While Atronach can be a superb sign, it is perhaps best reserved for somewhat advanced players - something to consider based upon your experience with the game.
