I've been praying for those in the floods lately, and as we were returning to SA from Victoria, I noticed quite an amount of flooded farms and roads on our way back. Not as bad as the Queensland floods, but still pretty scary.
Yeah, Victoria is getting hit, too. Not to the point of truly threatening cities (as is the case in Queensland), but there's still going to be one hell of a cleaning bill. I'm expecting the damage to roads alone is going to cost a fair bit.
My parents live in the west, but are doing okay; my mother's place is up a slop a bit and on stumps, and my father's place hasn't been too bad so far, and is also on stumps (plus its an undead house
