For those new to SC2 or anyone that is very familiar with the game. HuskyStarcraft provides great casts and some tutorials. And so does HDStarcraft. Day9 is also good.

Another website that gives Starcraft 2 tips is the UEN. You should check it out.


Well, I saw this thread had been locked many a year ago, and no one has renewed it, so here's the new iteriation. I thought of bringing this back after I noticed the newest update to SC 2 has brought back Channels. If anyone is interested, I think t would be fun to make a BGSF Channel and Clan. Anyone interested?

I'm pretty sure you missed adding a couple of links there.

I remember every year, i went through a phase where i'd come back to Broodwar and Diablo II.

I dont think i'll ever come back to Starcraft II.

Liking the latest update, glad there are channels and such now.

The map maker isn't as user friendly as it once was.
The melee games are far too competitive and feel way to habitual
I have to worry about performance issues on my high end rig -- im constantly changing the settings depending on the game im playing.
The lack of community existing on battle.net (no channels to chat in, clans have to be made externally)
The lackluster campaign

Its a good game, and I had fun with the used map settings game for a short period of time and I was pretty good at melee games (gold ranked).

There are people who enjoy it and i'm glad they'll get to feel the same feeling i did with the Starcraft of last generation.

You know, I still haven't picked up Starcraft 2. That's a little disappointing considering how many hours I've spent on the first one, does anyone here want to play some matches on the first one?

If I have time to play again, I definitely will. So keep an eye out for Twobblez to pop up. Also, what have these updates been doing? Besides nerfs.

Zerg and protoss got a few buffs actually and chat channels have been added which is pretty sweet.
Besides that nothing interesting has happened that I can remember.

After reformating my computer, I never got around to reinstalling SC2. I'm just tired of getting creamed by cheap tactics, like cannon rushing and everything that has to do with Protoss. Have they been patched yet? It's been months since I've played.

What Allstarn said. Is it possible to play in matches that last longer thwn four minutes now?

Yep today I had a match that lasted 30 minutes. And honestly most cheese can be stopped by scouting.

Hell even when the game was fairly new I had 1v1 matches that lasted up to an hour or more. Full matches. The whole map was used, each of us had all our expansions and then were just duking it out with cruisers and valkyries. It was epic. :shrug:

You just gotta look around, and watch out for that cheese that people do.

BGSF clan might be interesting...I'm around a couple times a week.

Also, when posting names and friend codes please specify which server you play on (NA, EU, SEA, KOR, etc).

Yeah, I spent a while in there yesterday all alone.

Anywho, does anyone want to organize the clan at all? I recommend its just a clan for fun with the occasional tourney. What do you guys think?
