multi player dropout

Because that's just it! Most people don't have a legitimate reason to leave a game and hang their teammates out to dry. They just leave because either: They said something they shouldn't have and pissed everybody off or vice-versa.

OR

They are dying a lot because they're doing (or trying) to do something that they shouldn't be and that strategy isn't working well for them, whether this 'thing' is exploiting a bug, spawn-camping, hacking, or just playing with the wrong set of guns on the wrong class.

Those people are the ones who should be punished for leaving a game and giving a potential loss to their teammates after they tried so hard to win. It's not fair to their teammates and it's not fair to the opposing team who should've had the chance to truly prove themselves against a worthy enemy.

Well I have to agree with you there, people like that SHOULD be punished - said punishment just shouldn't be so drastic that it seriously affects gamers who leave for a good reason
I think we can both agree on that, right?

Yes we can: 5-10% exp is nothing that couldn't easily be earned back by playing another 5 or 10 matches at MOST (depending on how poorly you do and what the exp scale is).
A casual player wouldn't care about this because they'll earn that amount back anyways just by having fun.

Human beings don't have a "best". That is why Olympic records are continually being broken. We learn, we adapt, and we overcome.

yeah Humans do but we sure don't we're gamers for gods sake we just sit there playing kicking "noobs" tearing up consoles from 24/7 gameplay, we may improve our skill at alot of games but only ones we like and it's not like we can just go too a gym and get better at it we have to play and that just increases our knowledge of the game not really our leet skillz 2 killz.

But they do have a "best." Yes, Olympic records are broken, but are they broken over and over by the same person - no. not usually. Humans have a peak, it's just the peak varies between people. Humans also have emotions, which can be detrimental - bots do not.

i believe your both right considering we haven't played yet and it's all based on assumption and loose video and or screen shots so either one can be right at this point it's your opinion that's fine but please stop arguing or it'll get locked at least go private.

Okay with physical limitations I will give you that, but you can't honestly say that the same scenario applies with our mental capacity. We only use 18-20% of our brain power on any given day. People are constantly finding ways to get around this barrier. (Have you watched that History Channel show about real life superheroes?)

Again, it comes down to consistency - something bots have. Although people can adapt and are able to find ways around that barrier, it doesn't mean they always will, whether it be they're too stupid, stubborn, or whatever. Ever play a game where a player is sniping/camping and he kills you, and when you respawn he is still in the same spot? A smart player would have changed positions. As far as solving problems, forming strategies, using tactics, etc. in video games, humans cover a wide spectrum from exceptional, to dumb as a brick.

Yeah, and they are isolated incidents - not the norm.

They aren't the norm because people refuse to believe that something like that is possible. If you were to walk up to somebody and say that you could take an entire generator's worth of electricity into your body without dying, he'd try and get you admitted to a mental hospital.

That bit about your camper being "dumb as a brick" is pure opinion, not fact. And I'm done arguing with you since all you can seem to do is pull up more opinions or insults.
