Yes, the enemy is pushing it back - by denying the attacking team access to it.
Don't make me get my picture of Phoenix Wright that says "Objection!!!". Your wording makes it sound like you mean't the enemy, standing around the cart eould move it back with the defending teams influence...

This has nothing whatsoever to do with TF2.
Even in W:ET there were escort missions exactly like this. Only engineer can repair if it's broken, everyone can make it move forward, cramped spaces.
Take the tank from Goldrush for example.

Not that the OP was necessarily implying they were copying TF2, but I'm just pointing this out so people don't think that. Because it's nonsense.

I don't know about that. I thought in the video where they escorted the bot in the Container City the narrator said something like "Now that the door has been opened our player runs back to the Command Post to become an engineer so he can start moving the bot.

In the demo I played an Engineer had to activate the bot first. So not every class would be able to escort it to begin with.

Was that directed towards me?

If it was, then I'm just saying that copying certain elements of other games isn't a bad thing, it just gives us better games in the end

No it was directed at OP. If it was for you, I would've quoted you.

For the bot escort mission in Container City - any class can escort it providing it still has health, if it has been damaged then an Engineer must first repair it before it will move again.

And yep (having worked on it) we did have escort missions back in Wolf ET; Gold Rush and Fuel Dump are the escort missions that are most like those found in Brink. However the Railgun design mechanic of the enemy team being able to push the train all the way back, we don't have in Brink.

I hope this helps clear things up :)
