Good to hear that medics get plenty of XP healing than killing, since I want to do more healing and buffing than killing. ^_^

I'm pretty sure they set all the xp values of the objectives to 0 on purpose because they're probably not sure what the final xp amounts will be since they're still fixing up the game a bit.
Also,

?€ah? mor€ XP ?or h€?l??g i? ?w€?om€? L??k? l?k€ ?hi? gam€ h?? i? ?ll!

How long did it take you to write that? XD

I remember seeing that video. It got a little confusing, nice of him to break it down.

The medium with the minigun looked really off lol. At least I think that was a medium, certainly looked it. Anyway interesting video and write up. I noticed in the video it seemed everyone was engineer or medic, which I kind of expected anyway. I'm glad that medic didn't seem overpowered.

Why was there a medium with a minigun?
Why is everyone all packed together?
Why is there the orange damage indicator rather than the blood splatter?
Why is barely anyone using SMART?

It isn't a damage indicator, it is the "Combat Intuition" ability. It's points in the direction where an enemy is aiming at you.

Why is barely anyone using SMART?

Most likely a mixture of 2 things. 1) SMART is anew feature and 2) For a lot of people playing Brink , this is probably their first time seeing the game - they don't about things like we do.
They probably aren't using SMART, because they are so used to how games play without it - they don;t think to use it.

Then there is no damage indicator? What happened to the blood thing from the Container City preview?

There is still a damage indicator; you'll just see the Sense of Perspective warning markers at the same time.

Oh. Does "In his sights" count as in his reticule for hip fire, too?

Also, why are enemies highlighted? I really don't like it.

Enemies are highlighted because they're in the dark. Friendlies are highlighted because they're who you would buff if you were to buff them. Which you should, given the incredible XP totals you can rack up doing so.

Aren't there also icons above their heads, though? It seems a little much to have both.

Because they're in the dark? They were highlighted the entire time, light or dark. I much prefer the Container City preview build where it shows you if they're friend or foe when you aim at them.

I think the XP was set to 0 because all the characters are already fully leveled with everything unlocked. But then again they still got points for other actions so who knows. The same issue pops up with the new video they have up on the main page.

Hope so. I don't want that on all the time. It'll make stealth pointless.

In addition, did any of you think that perhaps the feature was implemented to intentionally eliminate stealth? I mean, a feature like this works wonders for deterring campers and "snipers" since they will be lit up like Christmas trees. TO add to this, there is the Combat Intuition ability, which lets you know when an enemy player has you in his sights. Sounds to me like this mechanic is all apart of trying to make Brink play out a certain way. If you wanna be sneaky, disguise as the enemy.

sounds like what H0RSE said...
I would just prefer it not be there. I'm supposed to be shooting at people, not glowing things. I hope it's a perk or result of interrogation or something.
