I'm going with I guess a Mossington shotgun and a Hockler MP.

That as a soldier, As a medic I'd probably go with a Gerund AR with special/adjusted sights and a Silenced Carb-9 SMG.

But if you want that kind of build, you could use the shotgun for CQC dominance and still have your light rifle.

SMGs generally have better range though, and I'm unsure if shotguns can be silenced...

Not sure about the shotguns in Brink since I only saw two shotguns so far and I can't tell whether or not they were customized or not.

I'll just stick with a SMG at first then move around to other weapons like ARs, shotguns etc.

Assault rifle with SMG secondary, possibly Mossington.

I don't really know anything about guns (or really care that much for them) to distinguish between any of them, but I usually play with assault rifles and SMG's a lot in most video games. I'm not a shotgun kind of person, since I like to reload and shoot fast.

Likewise (on both) - but I do find that it varies considerably from game to game - i.e. it will depend a lot on the actual balance of assault rifles in Brink as opposed to assault rifles in any other game. For example, I prefer dual pistols in the Left 4 Dead games.

I'm pretty certain assault rifles and SMGs will be my weapons of choice, though.

I might do a Light Rifle/Revolver combo, but I'm also thinking an SMG/Silenced Pistol combo would work.

BTW, this is for a Light Operative, if it changes anything.

Sniper/Pistol

Pistol so I can knife, and I find pistol kills particularly rewarding.

Sniper because I'm pretty pinpoint accurate with a controller, so ideally I'll be able to score some headshots, but I still haven't seen any sniper rifle footage so I'm not sure how they work yet.

If not a sniper, I'll have to go with a smg, since I'll never change from a light weight class (excluding in the beginning when it isn't unlocked).

And silencers on everything.
