What happened to my map?

Post » Mon Mar 28, 2011 6:28 am

i tried making an old save my current save again because my new character was... useless. i'm holding out on TR and a few other landmass mods until later on (next TR map, finishing booty island) so i ran wyre mash's fix map option in the save's tab. screwed up the map.

made a new char, map's still screwed up but it's not as bad (it hasn't got all the yellow markers filled in, it's not as blurry)

I've had something like this happen to me. If you run mcp and check the map option, if you pull up an old game, it will jack up your map. Try starting a new game, then pull that save back up.

Edit: btw I like that menu mod you have, what is that?

Updating the map mid-game with Wrye Mash will do this, There isn't any real fix, I don't think.
But it shouldn't affect New Games.
But what do you mean that your new map is screwed-up except for map markers being messed? That's all that is wrong with this map.

Also, you can get rid of the Map Grid by simply turning it Off in Mash.

OFF? i turned it on? lol, how?

and on my older save all those yellow squares that represent a "place" had appeared, even though i hadn't been too them.

EDIT: @pluto, notice where i am on the map? :P

ok, removed the grid thingy, made a new game, it's better, but it's still blurry near red mountain.

I've never seen it effect a New Game like that before.

Maybe try running your MCP again, but without using Mash's map fix after. (probably won't fix this, but maybe New Games will look right)
