Enemies with perks?

I think it'd be neat if certain enemies would also have perks like the player character. These perks would fit within the theme of that enemy of course. What do you guys think?

Enemies, especialy npc, will most likely level just like players. like in oblivion.

I would assume they would be able to gain perks. :shrug: it would be interesting if they did anyway.

would be interresting to fight some really skilled enemy who, say, can slash you as hard as if you didn't have any armor lol. would make every fight different

That would be great. That's part of what makes good RPGs such great games to me...when enemy NPCs can have just as many powers and abilities as the PCs do. For the player to have all the cool abilities and the big bad evil geniuses to have just the basics would be pretty boring in my book.

Like they get perks unique to their race or do they just get perks you would have gained that would make sense for them to have? Either way it would be really cool.

They would get perks related to their race, level, implied class and profession. An enemy barbarian would have the same armor bypassing perk you can get. That's not to say that they would only have the perks you picked. Maybe some enemies would have perks that you'll never have access to.

i'd prefer it if npcs have perks, it breaks the immersion if i was the only one with them, and i feel it would make myself overpowered. It'd be great if random 'bandit' npcs were given a certain # of random perks depending on their level, and also have the perks they get based on their specialization (combat, magic, stealth), so every 'bandit' you come across has a slightly more unique fighting style/preference.
