Whats the name of this game

I have no idea what the name is, but it was a side scrolling game with cartoony anime art i believe, and you could choose your little miniature guys to fight other miniature guys. They had cool abilities, like there was an ice guy who could do some crazy moves that i liked. It was a game where you pressed a combination of buttons to do your moves.

EDIT: Oh, you played as 1 person with some other team mates.

Don't know Little Fighter, but it sounds exactly like Castle Crashers to me.

Is it an older or newer game? If its newer its almost for sure Catle Crashers....is there also a fire guy and I think its a green gase guy too? Because if so, its castle crashers.
