What if the Lone Wanderer had joined the enclave and decided to help them in taking Project Purity instead?

Good day gentlemen, I was just informed by president Eden himself that there has come a new threat to our lands known as "The Brotherhood of Steel"
He ordered me along with all other Enclave soldiers to whipe them out, here is an example of what you may encounter depending on their looks.

As we continue our research for the operation we have learned that the BoS is in possesion in some high tech from back in 2077, this is supposed to be some robot from the war against the chinese.

Operation Anchorage was led by the US government and involved this robot, however it was never used on the field and is now in the hands of the evil BoS cult.
Our mission is to assault the Pentagon and take the robot back from the technology worshipping cultists back into the hands of the government so that we may use it to our advantage.
Here is a snapshot of the robot recovered by our Enclave troops.

Now, don't underestimate this machine, it was built to destroy all communists in China but be sure that the BoS has managed to crack some of the programming to attack us, in a worst case scenario you are sent out to destroy and nuke the facility if needed.
Orders are to be given by Co. Atumn.

This will change the course of history gentlemen, then we can take back this "Project Purity" and finally cleanse the wastelands of all it's mutations so humanity in it's purest form can repopulate the vault, mutation and radiation-free.


Now we're done with the description, onto the plan itself.
Plan A

Co. Atumn will lead E.Div-538 (Enclave. Division 538) for the first assault against the Citadel, this will be a mere distraction for us to retrieve the "Liberty Prime" from within the citadel walls, as the BoS is busy fighting E.Div-538, Lieutenant Johnson will lead the infiltration force E. Spec-6 (Enclave. Special Forces 6) into the facility from the underground tunnels nearby and make their way into the BoS base, from there they will scout within the facility to look for any computer terminals that may posses info about the Liberty Prime and download the Data into our database and then whipe the terminals memories.
Right after that is done another unit will move in "E.Vert-498 (Enclave. Vertiberds-498)" in order to lift up the Liberty Prime as E. Spec-6 opens the hatch from within the halls of the Citadel, this is when our distraction wears off, then E. Div-538 will be reassigned to fight off any remaining BoS cultists within the facility.
BEWARE, all cultists are heavily armed but shouldnt be a problem.

Plan B.

If the distraction fails and E. Div-538 gets gunned down by the full force of the BoS we have to launch our special weapon.
Our heavily armed T-68c units will have to move in carrying our BETA stage weapon, the "Experimental MIRV" it can launch 8 mini nukes at a time so KEEP YOUR DISTANCE or you will be blown to pieces or die from the radiation.
Once the facility has been blown to dust our E.Vert-498 can move on as planned if E. Spec-6 has managed with the job.

Plan C.

Only if the first to plans fail, send E. NU-15 (Enclave. Nuke Unit-15) to wipe the entire area, including Liberty Prime.

I'm not liking how this opens. The Enclave and the Brotherhood have been at war since waaay before events of FO3.

No they have not, the Brotherhood hunted a few stragglers down from Navarro but that was after the majority of Enclave forces moved east; aside from that they tried to scout Navarro and got killed.

@ OP: I like how you are trying to justify the lunacy of F3 like why they didn't just destroy the Pentagon, for the record a division is tens of thousands men.
