I just installed F3 GOTY - it is a new copy so I am assuming it is fully patched to the latest version (but where can I get the F3 version info?)

Anyway - I can't log in to Games For Windows Live thru F3.

My OS is WinXP SP3, fully updated.

I have downloaded and updated the latest GFWL client (GFWL Marketplace 3.4.0054.0 / 3.4.0018.0).
I have tried port triggering on my router (UPD/TCP 3074->3074, both ways, UDP 88->88 both ways).
I have disabled Windows Firewall.
I have tried creating a new Windows Live account.

I can play the game just fine, I just want to be able to sign into GFWL - but I can't.

Any and all assistance will be appreciated.

Hi y'all. I have almost the same problem as marrax. I used to play FO3 GOTY in Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit on an iMac. GFWL linked to the game okay and it handled patches and updates okay and kept a tally of my achievements. I never finished the game on that computer

I have installed FO3 GOTY from the same disks on a new PC running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. The game runs fine. I have downloaded and installed GFWL and re-enabled my previous account.

After starting FO3, at no point am I given an opportunity to type in the GFWL serial # provided with FO3. This job was easy to do on the iMac but apparently impossible on the new PC.

In the menu screens of FO3 I see a choice called "Live". Expanding that I see an inert GFWL help screen which does nothing except show advice about getting a Live account and it must be dismissed with the ESC key as nothing else on screen is associated with this window.

Am I somehow locked out of linking GFWL to FO3? Members' help would be much appreciated.
